CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES OVERSIGHT OF WORK IN PROGRESS The construction consultant has the responsibility of observing the work being performed and of reporting any variations to the plans and specifications, or other contract documents to the A/E staff and to the owner. Other duties may include the timely processing of cost change proposals and change orders, evaluating the need for the change order, and assisting in the negotiations that may be involved in finalizing the change order.

CONSTRUCTION Many times, the most difficult part of a construction project is closing it out. The construction consultant assists by coordinating the process with the construction team and following up on each team-members responsibilities. The
construction consultant will attend the final walk- through of the project with
the owner, and monitor the completion of the work, and provide assistance to owner to handle warranty issues. |
